Reporting directly into the Head of IT, your duties will include: Using your existing development skills and knowledge in order to problem-solve and create exciting and engaging outcomes that work effortlessly every time Continually learning and bringing new ideas to the table Being able to embrace new technologies and learn new skills Having the confidence to spear-head projects directly yourself Working closely with the senior management team and key stakeholders Designing and developing the front-end and back-end internet applications Possessing excellent communications skills Being confident in arranging and conducting face to face meetings Having the ability to translate commercial requirements into technical solutions Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript jQuery, PHP In depth knowledge of SQL, MySQL Competent in WordPress and associated languages Good understanding of Responsive Design Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Good understanding of User Experience and User Interface (UX UI) Education/Experience: Experience in managing domains, DNS records and hosting accounts Previous experience working with WooCommerce / Shopify/ Alternative E-Commerce Platforms 2-4 years commercial experience (minimum) Test driven development Experience within retail / e-commerce environments Experience of online sales and product information portfolio development Who are we hoping will apply?
