(Role is fully remote currently) This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a UX team where you will be involved in a variety of projects across the the business unit. The principal responsibilities of this position will involve the design and development of UX applications and implementing of them across various business areas for the built environment. As part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team you will be required to collaborate with other design disciplines within the team to develop design concepts, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. You will be able to work with the existing design guidelines and look for new ways to push boundaries and innovation, translating user and business requirements into intuitive interaction and clear visual communication. You will have the ability and initiative to take control of briefs to develop design with all aspects of the design process from concept through to artwork to development. You will have at least 5 years’ experience working in the UX field ideally in investment banking or Digital UX agencies environment. You must be able demonstrate a keen interest in designing banking and finance related applications. Responsibilities Help facilitate user research and testing sessions and farther feedback Create personas through user research Creation of documentation and information design concepts Collaborate with other UX designers and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software Confidence to articulately present work to stakeholders Develop wireframes and task flows based on stakeholder requirements Understand product specifications and user requirements Find creative ways to solve UX problems Develop wireframes and prototypes Articulately communicate design and prototypes to developers and stakeholders Keep abreast of competitor and industry trends and standards Experience & Exposure You will have experience with a range of tools and techniques that can be used to make software delivery faster and more reliable: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Axure RP – hand sketching skills will be an advantage Knowledge of HTML/CSS; Angular JS, JavaScript is a plus Excellent design, visual communication and conceptual thinking skills Experience working with design guidelines Confidence at presenting your work and ability to manage own project timings Able to work across multiple projects Proactive, collaborative and work well under pressure to meet challenging deadlines Good written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills Be able to present a strong portfolio of design projects Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP Knowledge gained in Financial Services environments, for example products, instruments, trade lifecycles, regulation, risk, financial reporting or accounting
