Hyde have recently launched an efficiency initiative across the organisation with the aim of reducing costs and/or increasing income, A deep dive of costs has been undertaken which has highlighted some specific areas of costs to target, and this has resulted in several key initiatives being agreed across the Hyde business which will form the basis of a formal Efficiency Programme starting April 2021. The purpose of this role is to build the entire programme and associated work packages ready for April start, working with each business unit to plan the activities associated with each agreed initiative to deliver the expected savings. Additionally, the plan must be resourced appropriately, and this requires an element of holistic planning, as resources may be limited, especially IT and business SMEs. The plan will likely extend over multiple years, but focus will be on year one. A key aspect of the role will be ongoing Programme reporting monthly to Hyde’s Change Board. A second (smaller) requirement of the role is to support Finance with a system replacement programme, which has completed feasibility and is moving into delivery. This is a key objective for the business and as such requires a strong PM to ensure delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
