Candidates must be able to lead mobile app development in the building of mobile apps for various domains. The position requires that you are able to lead a team through the design development and testing of critical mobile applications based on Volt MX using Javascripts frameworks. Coordination with offshore team may be required. Job Responsibilities: · Work with the business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design optimal solutions. · Rapid prototype development of proposed solution · Contribute to the design and development of HCL mobile applications based on HCL Volt MX · Perform unit testing for the mobile applications · Provide estimates and on effort and time for mobile development task · Perform proof of concept using new mobile application development platforms · Should have experience working in Agile Scrum methodology · Mentoring new mobile developers · Work with stakeholders and administrations in the deployment, testing and maintenance of the applications. Required · 10 years of hands on experience with Mobile application development for Native or Specific Platform (Kony Platform knowledge preferred) · Experience with JavaScript web development, including jQuery, JSON, Angular, Bootstrap, React · Knowledge of integrating databases with mobile applications · Knowledge and development of webservices (SOAP and REST) · Knowledge of Relational databases · Use of repository like bit bucket or Git Hub · Knowledge of tools like Jenkins for continuous development and integration · Hands on experience with developing or modernizing mobile applications · Excellent written and communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence customers and co-workers · Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks and comfortable with short deadlines · Ability to work with UX designers for rapid prototyping of concepts. · 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience · English: Fluent, other languages an asset (German, French, Spanish) Additional Desired Skills The successful candidate will also possess some, or all, of the following: · Desired location: Anywhere in UK · Kony certified preferred. · Use of Jira or some other Agile development tools · Understanding of authentication and identity services such as SAML and oAuth · Experience working with REST API based web services · A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive is a must
