PURPOSE OF THE ROLE….

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Senior Account Manager / Strategic Account Manager to work with one of the company’s largest international clients in an omnichannel capacity, with a special focus on delivering email marketing excellence.

Working closely with Product Marketing Managers, functional experts and other agency partners, you will help bring to life effective, incentive-based programs to increase the client’s customer base, generate revenue, and establish best-in-class practices that can be applied across the business.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY….

  • Serving as the focal point of a large client marketing program with overall responsibility for program management, delivery excellence, and account growth
  • Optimising existing campaigns and localising, testing, and rolling out new campaigns to multiple international markets
  • Refining program KPIs based on user insights and industry best practices
  • Testing and implementing new incentives to drive revenue and sustainability metrics
  • Ensuring a seamless customer journey across multiple channels
  • Liaising with the company’s creative, strategy, analytics, and development teams to ensure the delivery of best-in-class marketing solutions
  • Keeping multiple stakeholders informed, streamlining ways of working, and driving efficiencies to benefit both your team and the client
  • Ensuring client satisfaction and agency profitability
  • Working closely with Sr AD to set strategic vision of the account and to identify new business opportunities

EXPERIENCE….

  • Proven experience working with creative, development, strategy, and analytics teams and overseeing high value email campaigns from inception to completion and refinement (including production oversight)
  • Ability to act as an extension of the client’s in-house marketing team and proactively identify strategic opportunities for program growth and optimisation (previous experience working in an embedded client environment highly advantageous)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, drive and entrepreneurship to overcome technical and resource challenges and lead multiple projects simultaneously (with little supervision)
  • Consistent high standard delivery to tight deadlines and evolving requirements
  • Possessing the confidence and gravitas needed to pitch and present convincingly to clients and prospective clients
  • Broad market and industry knowledge, in particular direct response email marketing
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and experience owning (and growing) a sizeable campaign budget ($1M+ per annum)
