About the company
The company a distributor of telecommunication products mainly headsets, with a current annual turnover of £13.5 million pounds & have been trading successfully for 24 years.
Requirements:
The main job function is to chase & collect the companies aged debt from its customer base.
– Receipt Payments on to their computer system.
– Generate sales invoices.
– Process the companies post.
– Process the banking.
The candidate must have some credit control experience and must have general IT skills such as being familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel ETC, training will be given on our computer accounting package which is Pegasus Opera 3, any experience on this system will help however not essential.
Holiday – 20 days per annum plus statuary bank holidays, however the business runs a skeleton staff situation Between Christmas & new year with about 5 staff in attendance, as a result of this it means that all staff receive about 23-24 days holiday per annum however the business reserves the right to change this if required. (This is something that has been in place for about 12 years & we have never called all staff in over the Christmas period or ask them to use holidays)
Hours of work – Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
Benefits – Company Pension scheme is in place at 6% from the business and optionally matched by the employee, death in service insurance policy & healthcare are amongst the company benefits over the first 12 months of employment.
