Being a large, highly successful company, they require support with the provision of on-site IT services support 7 days a week on a rota basis, ensuring the delivery of high performing and responsive IT and Telephony services at all operational sites. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Experience of creating and maintaining user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments Experience of working in a user support environment Understanding of the role of key IT infrastructure elements including servers, storage technology, networks, telephony and PCs Experience of working in a Customer Service oriented environment Excellent verbal communication skills, specifically able to communicate technical information in simple language to end users Ability to produce high quality documentation to assist the enhance the quality and reliability of IT services Valid UK driving licence The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of ITIL framework, particularly relating to incident management and have an excellent telephone manner to talk to users. Within this position, you’ll also be: Acting as the primary point of contact for any user creation, deletion & amendments request Data entry & report creation on all systems & applications Managing phone calls, emails and face to face requests from staff regarding IT incidents, requests and queries Logging and maintaining an accurate and timely record of all reported incidents Providing 1st line support – troubleshooting IT related incidents with software, hardware and networking across all areas of the company’s IT and Telecoms services Maintaining the IT Asset Database and track changes Escalating unresolved calls to 1st 2nd and 3rd line resources Creating and maintaining support documentation to assist staff with requests for information & provide staff training if required Travelling to sites from which the company operates to provide IT & Telecoms services Salary & Working Hours Salary is £16,000 – £18,000 This position involves working as part of a shift rota providing on site cover Monday to Sunday between 07:00 and 19:00.
