You will become an integral part of their IT function and have a lot of scope to their internal application function. Duties include Application functionality, Operational management, Service management, Team management & Project management governance, definition, scoping and alignment with the initial planning. Ideally, you should have the following experience: Previous experience as an IT application team leader / Manager with people management experience Business systems and software Designing, deploying and troubleshooting complex line-of-business applications Cloud-based applications experience, SaaS and security Suitable experience of external project resource management. Some experience of ITIL / TOGAF frameworks Proven experience within some legal applications, such as case management, finance and reporting systems; including Thomson Reuters Mattersphere, iManage, VisualFiles, Proclaim, SOS connect etc. Key tasks include: Development, management, planning and operations of the line-of-business applications; to ensure a suitable, licensed, compliant, secure yet flexible for the firm’s growth and potential business change. Delivering against the business and IT strategies, operational policies and governing frameworks; including TOGAF and ITIL, to understand and provision against business demand. Providing the most capable, agile and cost-effective solution to define, develop, support and ensure the best user experience, operational efficiency and business effectiveness of the current and future state line-of-business application portfolio. Responsibility to supervise, resource manage, coordinate, mentor and support the development of all members within their teams.
