You will Business Partner across the organisation to deliver an excellent ICT service to our client’s customers. (Systems include Orchard Housing, Keystone, Service Connect, Open Accounts and eBis.) Duties will include: Provide 2nd Line support to users on issues/requests relating to the suite of business systems by managing incidents and requests in the helpdesk, ensuring that tickets are documented and updated with progress updates so the users are informed of progress Train and support individuals across the business in the use of business systems to enable users to use the tools appropriate for their job role and self-serve Inform expectation setting around delivery times of new technology and functionality as well as risk management Scope and define new technical requirements with Project Sponsors and system users Advise system users on the technologies available to enhance their ability to agile work and improve service delivery Ensure they are fully utilising the technology investment in situ, gather and capture information on new capabilities and functionality of the suite of systems Implement new features with business users and communicate enhancements to stakeholders and users Own the technical aspects of system upgrades including integration, ensuring all UAT is completed by super users. Ensuring the Business systems are supported by third party suppliers Lead the development of the reporting suite, to perform analysis and develop operational reporting capabilities and key performance indicators to enable data-led decision making Identify Reporting Requirements for all new system implementations and build and deliver reports according to specifications Be a technical lead and implementer on technology projects, document and communicate progress, setting expectations to business users around delivery, ensuring that risk and issues are identified and highlighted Deliver Projects according to Technology Project Programme prioritisation Please note that your title in this role will be Business Solutions Analyst. About you To excel in this role, you will need to have: ICT related degree or relevant experience Demonstrable experience in a Business Applications Support function Experience of working in a Housing environment (desirable) Knowledge of Orchard Housing (preferred) You must also have: The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks, including Projects and Support desk Effective communication skills to communicate complex and technical ideas and concepts in a clear and logical manner Experience in supporting medium to large system implementations Ability to work effectively in a team to deliver against agreed targets Ability to develop positive relationships with colleagues and customers Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to collate evidence quickly to diagnose problems and implement solutions Experience of learning and being responsible for a suite of applications They are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join their team so if you feel that you have that something extra but don’t quite meet all the requirements above, they would still love to hear from you.
